Positives and Negatives
Positive: My mom and Nana came over to help so we can actually get some cleaning done around here for the party tomorrow.

Negative: My ribs hurt so badly that I can't take a deep breath, so I went to the clinic for an Xray. There is apparently nothing wrong with my ribs?? Radiologist will call on Monday.

Positive: We got our appraisal of the car today. It was about $3000 more than we expected.

Negative: It's still about $15,000 shy of actually being able to purchase the car we want. Guess we'll be getting 2 used cars this year instead of a new and a used.

A week before I went off to college my freshman year, my parents were in a boating accident. Dad was mostly fine, but Mom was thrown out of the boat and pretty beat up. In the hospital they said her ribs were fine despite the pain, but she couldn't breath deeply either, and was gasping and moaning whenever I went over a bump in the road while driving her to various doctors. My sister (also a doctor) said she'd probably cracked her ribs, and that small cracks don't always show up on x-rays but are still incredibly painful.

Hope you're feeling better soon. Can you feed James despite the pain, or does that not aggravate it?
